James and his family were among 48 evacuees from the Gulf region devastated by Hurricane Kartina last year who were provided shelter and support at Circle of Care's Frances E. Willard Ministry Center. With the help of many area churches, Circle of Care was able to provide for the personal, emotional, financial and spiritual needs of the evacuees. Today, James and his family call Tulsa home.

Frances E. Willard Ministry Center

Located in Tulsa, the Frances E. Willard Ministry Center serves as Circle of Care's headquarters for the Child S.H.A.R.E. program and is also utilized for youth retreats, staff and training meetings.

The Frances E. Willard Ministry Center has facilities available to host meetings, conferences, and retreats for churches or community organizations.

The Frances E. Willard Ministry Center, operated by the Oklahoma United Methodist Circle of Care, is located on 40 beautiful acres in Gilcrease Hills, just five minutes from downtown Tulsa. The Willard campus is the central office for Circle of Care Child S.H.A.R.E. [Shelter Homes: A Rescue Effort]. In addition, The Frances E. Willard Ministry Center offers resources for other Circle of Care ministries, the Oklahoma United Methodist Conference, and the community at large.

Child S.H.A.R.E. now offers services in Tulsa County in addition to the Oklahoma City area. Child S.H.A.R.E. recruits foster and adoptive families in the faith community and provides support services to those families.

Cottages on the Willard campus are available to the Circle of Care residential sites for respite care and retreats. Willard will continue to host Circle of Care functions such as the annual Sport's Day and Spring Fest.

Frances E. Willard Ministry Center has facilities available to host meetings, conferences, and retreats for churches or community organizations. The Susanna Wesley Center offers spacious accommodations to facilitate retreats and seminars. The gymnasium/multipurpose room can accommodate up to 100 people. Smaller breakout rooms and a fully functioning kitchen are also available. Three apartments in the building will easily sleep seven people. Smaller meeting rooms are available in the Willard office building. Cottages on the campus provide the perfect location for retreats.
